Thanks for sharing this, Ann. Your honesty sheds light on something that is arising for me currently. I have a better sense of what to do next after reading your post.

When I first encountered the four reminders I reacted in a typical way (for me). I understood the words and the concepts, so what is the big deal? Why would I need to contemplate what that seems so obvious. The understanding of the words without und…
What a great forum topic- eagerly await a listen to the podcast. There is a lot of heavy body sensation coming up in my experience right now that needs integration and it can be overwhelming at times. Tonglen is especially effective in working with…
Hi Gerhard, It's amazing to experience Probing Presence- both as a participant and as a support for the EoA. I look forward to your presence and perhaps participation in future meetings.

Hi Kate,
Ann told me you might be interested in joining a small group to learn more about the "probing presence" model that was developed in LA by Ken's students. Our WUTYL-Columbus group has been meeting for about two years and is now adopting that format for our Thursday meetings (Thursdays 7-9 EST). We already have a couple of electornic visitors. So you're welcome to join us via Skype if you're free from 4-6 PST. E-mail me here if you'd like more specifics or explore our humble Ning group to see what we're up to! http://wutylcolumbus.ning.com/
Hi Kate, Just to follow up on our gmail discussion the other day.... In addition to meeting with Tracy Ormond (we're in the same time zone) by skype to discuss podcasts and practice issues more generally, I have joined (via skype) a group facilitated by Jim Ellesworth and have also been experimenting with the use of Ken's probing presence model (via skype) with Jim and Greg Germano. We've written a bit about our experience so far in a forum discussion called "The Internet as a medium for interacting around practice." Hope you're having a relaxing and peaceful holiday... Ann
I find the material on the Unfettered Mind website to be a necessary and welcomed enhancement of the practice I am currently engaged in here in Eugene. Thank you Ken and students!
