Hi Peter, I appreciate your exquisite honesty about life-threatening illness, your marriage and your dreams. I'll muddle through a response. Mostly I'm struck by your willingness to speak openly, your candidness, so thank you. I hope you don't f...

Hi Trevor, Thanks for your perceptive note. Yes, when people combine two "negatives" within the same sentence they usually mean the precise opposite, so yes, I objected or meant to challenge your style of conceptual thinking. I should have been m...

Hi Trevor, I'm an anglophile, no offense intended, but one day after expressing "intrigue" about spending "less time on the cushion" toward a future forum question, you've evasively turned back the entire question, as if in clever sartorial defen...

Rob,
Thanks for participating in the on-line discussion of Langri Thangpa's "Eight Verses for Training the Mind". We're closing this discussion with a summary, and I invite you to post your thoughts.
And it was an awesome game, no?

Rob,
We must have crossed paths sometime! I lived in Point Breeze near Penn Avenue from 1990 to 2003. My wife, Kathi Pajer, MD, and I were both WPIC faculty (I am a psychologist). We now live in Columbus and teach at OSU, but we're frequently in PGH.
cheers
Bill
