I've been absent from this thread because I've been on the road doing what I do (suicide grief education and support; and suicide prevention advocacy). I started a Sioux Falls-Boston-D.C. trip about half a month ago, and now I'm back in Sioux Falls…

Bill: I've been following the discussions in this read, but I've been writing a proposal, so I haven't had time to contribute for awhile. I'd like to return soon if I can and respond to several things that have been quite helpful to me, but that wil…

In order to become more attuned to my direct experience, I have been focusing recently on two activities: * Cultivating a real-time awareness of who I am and what I am doing. * Choosing and acting healthfully and peacefully. By "awareness of who…

What brought you to the Unfettered Mind community site?
I have been an off-and-on student and practitioner for many years--recently very much "on" as a student while taking another look at how I might engage meaningful in practice--whose journey has also taken me deep into a helter-skelter but also sustained practice (a lovely contradiction in terms, which is emblematic of my experience in life, generally) of the 12 Steps beginning in 1981. Recently, I encountered McLeod's ideas and the Unfettered Mind website and other materials in association with a Communities of Practice online workshop in which I am involved.

Hi Franklin -- we listened to and explored the Warrior's Solution podcasts recently in a small study group that I'm part of and got in touch with Ken McLeod to ask some questions about the material. I'd be happy to have a chat about this -- shall we organise a skype call, or maybe converse asynchronously in google wave (have you joined the preview, if not I recommend it). Let's get in touch by email to decide next steps -- I trust you still have mine?
