Unfettered Mind

What's the purpose of this site and how do the the various Unfettered Mind sites fit together?
The intention of this social network is to provide a channel for finding and  with interacting like-minded people around practice points and related matters.  It's part of a constellation of several sites which together support the Unfettered Mind network (click HERE for more about the network).  This includes the main Unfettered Mind site, where Ken McLeod offers podcasts, practice materials and detailed information on programs, Ken's Blog, a book recommendation list and a wiki that serves as the home for the development and coordination of activites of Unfettered Mind. LInks to these sites can be found at the top left of the main page of this site.

This site is hosted on Ning, a free social networking service.  Ning allows site administrators to chose and arrange the placement of key modules such as discussion forums, blogs, photo and video sharing.  It also provides some choice around the number and order of appearance of  topics or other user created content that appear within each module.

What about commercial postings and self-promotion?
The purpose of this site is to provide you with a way to interact with like-minded people on any and all topics related to practice and how you live the practice. It's also a way of letting others know about projects you are working on or which have come to completion. However, this site is not for the promotion of businesses or for soliciting customers for products or services. If you see such a posting, please contact Ann. We will send a notice to the person asking them to take the posting down. If they don't comply within a week, the posting will be taken down. And if someone persists in trying to use this site to promote their ventures, we may take the drastic step of banning them from the site.
