Unfettered Mind

I was checking out a different Buddhist tradition and they talked about taking refuge in the Sangha, as in making a commitment to a path and style of practice.

Is that something people here do?

Buddhist Refuge on the Resources for Students page has a thorough explanation. My 2 cents: The Buddha taught several vehicles and when you take refuge you are taking refuge in the teachings of the Buddha which to me means any and/or all traditions. Yes: I take refuge in the Gurus, I take refuge in the Buddha, I take refuge in the Dharma, I take refuge in the Sangha (3x).
